The Setting · Grimley, Worcestershire
Rooted in rural Worcestershire.
At Green Hill Fishery in Grimley, the landscape sets the pace.
Two lakes form the heart of the setting. Established trees, open skies and the changing light on the water offer a different experience through every season.

A landscape with a story
Two hundred and twenty years of seasons.
An approximately 220-year-old black poplar gives the setting a sense of history. It has stood through generations of changing seasons, and is part of what makes this place feel established and special.
Life on and beneath the water
Time to notice.
Swans glide across the lakes. Wild geese gather on the water, and herons watch quietly from the margins. Beneath the surface, large carp are part of the lakes' life.
You might find yourself watching a heron longer than you meant to, or pausing at a ripple in the water. There is pleasure in having time to notice these things.

Our approach is to let the architecture sit comfortably within this landscape, with views, privacy and outdoor space considered together.
